Alan Silverman is in architecture here at UIUC. This means he spends much of his time drawing. He was also taking N_S__ courses in NROTC, which means he spent the rest of his time ironing, but he has since put off the ironing until summer when he can devote his full attention to it. Still, Alan's brain would melt if he had my major. My first experience with Al was sophomore year at NNHS when he was occupying my locker and I had to get it past Coach Lindo on Locker Clean-Out Day, so I had to get the combination from him. Al was also in Latin, where he would come up with intriguing, if not necessarily accurate, translations. Since coming to UIUC, he has been running what Peter Breen called "The Greatest Web Site in the History of the World", not to mention watching his GPA slip and slide. Back in N-ville, his house, three blocks north of mine, has been a mecca for games of Axis & Allies and Safety Darts and consumption of Orange Crap. Now he's living in an apartment with me, and the tables are turned: I have the A&A game, I have the dartboard (with real darts, no less (or at least one dart)), and I bought the Orange Crap.
