Despite the fact that I went to high school with Amy, I think my roommate knows her better than I do. She is an interesting person, without doubt. I yelled at her once at ICTM State for being at the competition room late. She attempted to point out that she was there three minutes before the competition was to start, but to no avail. (Basically, I was the captain, and she had made me even more nervous than I already was, so I was unhappy with her.) She was unhappy about getting yelled at. I also bought her a toilet plunger at Target about a week later. Specifically, I bought the plunger, then gave it to Mark, and he gave it to Amy. This was a consequence of the fact that she has spent too much time on the phone with Mark and me simultaneously for her own good. She was a little unhappy about the conclusions drawn from the fact that I bought the plunger, but I think she liked the plunger itself. Besides, she was just a little bit paranoid that week, or at least that was Mark's interpretation of one of Amy's dreams. It's a long story, and Mark remembers it better than I do anyway--he had to remind me of it before he went to Germany. I should probably mention here that Amy was NNHS's 1995 valedictorian, but that may only be a token gesture to keep her from trying to kill me later after she reads this file.
