Ed is a little odd. Of course, anyone worth knowing is a little odd, so Ed must be more than a little odd. Ed tried to go with us during the Vijay-in-the-trunk incident, but he was driving himself in PDA 911 (a black Volkswagen Rabbit) and got lost. That same license plate number was once read over the PA at NNHS by none other than Principal Dr. Bruce F. Cameron himself, because Ed left the lights on. At UIUC, Ed's been living off in a commune (somebody called it a commune once--maybe that was that cordless phone conversation I picked up on the scanner accidentally) known as Allen Hall. He made the cover of the Daily Illini once by racking himself and his bicycle on the Quad. He used to spend most of his time talking about laser-security systems for his locker, algorithms for generating stolen credit card numbers, and Aleph Null, seemingly the natural consequences of interests in computers and weaponry, coupled with a lack of personal wealth. I gather (fortunately) that he has since gotten a life. (Further proof, I suppose, that all is not lost for those of us who still have no life.)
