Mark used to be a bit of a freak. He is now less of one. He has fallen asleep on the phone with me at least twice. We have also had several phone conversations in excess of four hours, including at least two of more than seven hours. He scares me a bit, mostly because he seems often as though he knows me better than I do. He is my friend nonetheless, and it is good, as he has given me more insight into myself than even Theresa has. I don't know how I first met Mark; I only know how I first met his sister. Mark is at Brigham Young now, although not at the moment. There he has expressed pride in his socail life, but he still has a few worries in that arena. Right now, Mark is off in Germany being a door-to-door Mormon. He'll be back in 1998, at which time he will likely still opt not to buy a minivan.
