Name: Paul Robert Nash
High School: Naperville North High School, Naperville, Illinois, 1994
College: University of Illinois, Urbana, Illinois
Where the "Place" link goes: City of Naperville, Illinois
Paul was our JETS team captain in 1994 when we came down to the Illini Union and kicked some butt. He was named as an Outstanding Negro Scholar, which was news to me since I didn't know he was black. (I'd only known him for three years, I guess.) He was also big with tech crew at NNHS, so it's no surprise to me that he has been involved in such a capacity with KCSA. He's a CS major, but he's kind of a kindler, gentler CS major. I guess that means he seems less like a maniacal machine and more like a run-of-the-mill human being than most CS majors I know. Paul doesn't like being rubbed the wrong way, though, and he takes a lot of things a lot more seriously than I do. This means that (a) I am on his e-mail-non-grata list for sending out innocuous e-mail and (b) he will probably be more successful and make a lot more money than I will. (Go, Paul!) Actually all the engineering types had better be making more money in five years than I am, unless I land in one hell of an overpaid school district. Paul lived across the hall from me my first year at UIUC year and was in the same PHYCS classes (which is how he met Dan Sachs, who he roomed with last year) as I was. I wish him well, not that he'll need as much luck as most. (I apologize for the construction of this file. Accessers familiar with Version 4 will notice much of the same text spliced in here from his last file. I did do this. This is the ONLY FILE from which I copied text. In fact, for most of them I didn't even look at the old file. I apologize for my laziness in this matter, as my accessers have learned to (and should) expect better of me than that.)
