An import (so to speak) on the 1994 NNHS Math Team, Vijay lived (that year) on the south side of town (in Redhawk territory). His parents had moved much further south (like to the next continent), so this was a good compromise. Vijay was also (as well as being on Math Team four years and being a protogé (sort of) to SAFE guru Ryan Hughes) involved in the class rank tie for fifth in the Class of 1994. He tied Umair. (My class rank is inestimable and none of your business.) Now he's off surviving in Houston being an Owl (newly in the wacked-out WAC), although he probably gets more sleep at night than I do.
