Mathematical FunI will add more links as I get the URLs. This one
should keep you busy for a while.
Secrets Of The UniverseSome useless mystical stuff. The
type of thing this page was created for. (Note: The 9-Ball may be down. But
there's some interesting stuff in its place.)
Go...away.Created by a student from
Carnegie Mellon who is now a CS grad student at UIUC (and we wonder why
CS majors scare me?), this is both a good way to take the hard work out of
ripping someone's character and to take the fun and originality out of ripping
someone's character. (Speaking of ripping, I really ought to stop stealing
links from Theresa, but at least this one is on a UIUC machine.)
Current EventsKeep in mind that the federal speed limits have been repealed.
This makes life interesting in Montana, particularly during the day.
Purdue's Dark DimensionA British Sci-Fi Club at Purdue--with links to related
stuff all over the net. (Of course, if you really want to go straight to
reading the Trilogy, I think all five books are still here
(or at least were there when last I looked). If there is nothing there, you
might try an Alta Vista search on a specific quote, like "is that really a piece of fairy cake?")
ToastI Really don't want to think about how I found this. But I do want to find it again. The immediate previous link I followed is this, but beyond that....
Listen To The RadioThis is my favorite radio station down in Urbanaland. I could be listening
to it right now (when I typed this, I really was). It amazes me that any radio
station down here, particularly one I listen to, has a home page, but I suppose
here in the land of NCSA, anyone can get on the 'net. (See the C-U MTD on the
"useful.html" page for another example.) It's kind of nice that anyone in the
world can now learn about a little Champaign, Illinois radio station.
"It's In The Game."I have Bill Walsh College Football '94 and '95, College Football USA '97, John Madden Football '92 and '94, NBA Showdown '94, NBA Live '96, NHL '94 and '95 and '96, MLBPA Baseball ['94], Triple Play '96, and FIFA
International Soccer ['94] and '95, all for the Sega Genesis. These folks make the best sports video games around, for any platform. ("If it's in the game, it's in the game." is a registered trademark of Electronic Arts.)
