Folks I Probably Still Know

I still know most of these people--I hope. Most of them are nice people who I would like to still know, at any rate. The rest are likely people with whom I am no longer in contact, but who were on this page in JEBHP 4 (or even 3). I have a philosophy against deleting people from this page. It's kind of like why I don't send Christmas cards--for me to do it would be for me to admit that I have in fact completely lost touch with the individual to whom I am sending the card. I don't wish to do that. Anyway, the format for the individual profiles again has a separate page for each person. I have added a little more graphics to the pages, and replaced the "State of Residence" links with a new "Place" link which has something to do with the person's current or former residence. Each person's profile then looks something like this:
Profile: Benda, Jennifer

1 RACINE Name: Jennifer Racine Benda
High School: Naperville Central High School, Naperville, Illinois, 1994
College: University of Illinois, Urbana, Illinois
Where the "Place" link goes: DuPage County, Illinois
Jennifer is a fictitious person. I invented her in June of 1995, and she is now on the mailing list at Crate and Barrel and The Container Store, as well as being the registered owner of a copy of the Reelect JFK CD-ROM game (which I bought). "Jennifer" is one of the few common names starting with J not already in use in my family (Joe, John, Jim, Jeff, Jason, Jackie, Janine, Joseph, James), and I like the name "Racine" (a French word, meaning "root"). Her jersey has her middle name on it so as not to confuse it with mine. I did the same thing when I created both of us as goalkeepers in NHL 96; she is "01 Jennifer Racine" and I am "97 Jason Benda". (Why I sent her to Naperville Central I don't know.)

All graphics have alternate values for textual browsers, as is, has been, and will continue to be my policy. The actual profiles have all been redone for JEBHP 5; it's been a while, and I have a few new things to say about a few people, as well as a few additions. The color schemes have also been individually redone, basically without respect to what they use to be. The jerseys are all new, and all the numbers were assigned by me. Some numbers I had specific reasons for, some just "seemed right", and some were really arbitrary. At any rate, here are the seventeen females and twenty-two males who comprise the peopletrace file.
There are three lists to access the individual profiles. The first is a list of jersey numbers only. The list of names is then printed twice; once in alphabetical order and once in numerical order by jersey number. All three lists link to the same set of files.

If you think I've missed you (and I have missed some people who should be here, I know), please [9] mail me and let me know. For that matter, if you do have a file here, and I have some wrong or missing information in it (e.g., your middle name is missing, I don't know your high school's home page, or you think the "Place" link should go elsewhere (you need to tell me why for that one), please tell me that, too.
